Midland I purchased this as a gift for xmas for my wife and I.
We just finally opened the package yesterday. It had sloppy packing tape on the actual packaging which made me think maybe it had been previously used, but the everything looked new inside.

The problem is that one of the units is faulty. Its extremely quiet in both ear and mic.
This is my second set of the BT Next model and Im very familiar with its correct function.
Makes me think that with the tape on the box, they may have known that it was faulty.

Unfortunately, we didn't inspect the units earlier as our "return window" has passed.
I may be able to have it replaced under manufacturers warranty, but I shouldn't have to pay to send it to them and wait the 2-4 weeks for my "BRAND NEW" product I purchased.

Very disappointed.

I would also like to say that these should be about 50 bucks cheaper.
